Place the chopped apricots and dates in a bowl and pour in enough Amaretto liquor to cover. Preheat the oven to&nbsp;140\u00b0C\/Fan 120\u00b0C and lightly grease and line an 8 inch springform tin. Add into the bowl and mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"widgetopts1874831098 extendedwopts-col col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12 \"  data-animation-event=\"enters\" >5.&nbsp;Into a saucepan, add in the honey, golden syrup, diced butter and sugar and place over a high heat. Once the butter and sugar have melted, bring to boil for approx. 5 mins or until it has reached 118\u00b0C (\u2018Soft Ball\u2019 stage) on a thermometer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"widgetopts2034493441 extendedwopts-col col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12 \"  data-animation-event=\"enters\" >6.&nbsp;Once reached, take off the heat and gently pour into the bowl of mixed flour and fruit. Stir well.
