Saying goodbye to summer also means saying goodbye to long days of sunlight. We think it’s a good idea to switch up your plants to ones that thrive in low light conditions that don’t require oodles of natural sunlight.<\/p>

A few that spring to mind are the spider plant, various types of fern and the dragon tree if you want to make a green statement.<\/p>\n

There are many ways you can introduce texture into a space without breaking the bank. The reason why texture is a key element of the hygge trend is because it naturally makes a room feel warmer and more cosy.<\/p>\n

We’d recommend investing in a deep pile rug to sink your feet into, or if you’re looking to jazz up your walls, a macrame wall hanging or a rattan mirror will definitely do the job.<\/p>
