It\u2019s less about pure nostalgia and more about energy and feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there are some subtle differences about groovy interiors 2.0. <\/p><div class=\"goodh-content_2\" id=\"goodh-1305551963\"><div class=\"goodh-adlabel\">Advertisements<\/div><!--noptimize--><div class=\"GRVMpuWrapper mobile\"><div class=\"GRVAd inline mobile\" data-ad-type=\"primary-mpu\" data-ad-label=\"mpu\" data-ad-sizemapping=\"primary-mpu\" data-ad-sizes=\"[[300,250],[300,600],[320,480]]\" data-ad-refreshmapping=\"always\"><\/div><\/div><!--\/noptimize--><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe new wave is bolder, brighter, and more curated; we\u2019re talking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodhomesmagazine.com\/inspiration\/dopamine-decor-decorate-yourself-happy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dopamine design<\/a>, layered patterns, and furniture with flair,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodhomesmagazine.com\/inspiration\/decorating-dilemmas-interior-design-masters-ayisha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Interior Design Masters<\/a> contestant continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s still retro, but filtered through a 2025 lens; playful but polished. It\u2019s cheeky, curvy and full of charm, like the seventies got a designer facelift. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Forget beige and behave, this look is about colour, character and homes that&nbsp;<em>actually<\/em>&nbsp;make you smile.&#8221;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So how do we harness our inner groovy and express it in our spaces? It will only accentuate your taste and personality!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maria agrees that statement lighting is a groovy must. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGo for mushroom lamps, coloured glass pendants or brass globe chandeliers,\u201d she suggests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese pieces double as sculptural decor and instantly warm up a space with mood and character.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Ayisha adding swirly pendants, orb lamps, and smoked glass lights will set the tone &#8211; literally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey add drama, warmth and visual rhythm, acting as both a mood-setter and a nod to nofollow\">Hammonds Furniture<\/a>&nbsp;says the iconic patterns of the 70s, such as psychedelic swirls and large florals are still there, but they are now more subtle and sophisticated, with refined geometric shapes and bold wallpapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis makes a strong, yet balanced statement,\u201d she continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBold patterns can be introduced through wallpapers or
