TV presenter, author and Instagram sensation Stacey Solomon is always giving us interiors inspiration but her latest project has really caught our attention. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Baby pink<\/h2>\n

For those choosing not to find out what they’re having, gender neutral nurseries <\/a>are really having a moment right now. However, as Stacey and Joe have chosen to find out, they’ve opted for traditionally girlie tones of pinks \u2013 hardly a surprise since the pair have already welcomed four boys between them!<\/p>\n

Abby Hesketh, colour expert at Graham and Brown explains: ‘If choosing to paint with pink, neutral shades are an elegant way to add a soft sophisticated warmth to an otherwise neutral colour palette. It’s known to evoke feelings of calm and reduce tensions which is the perfect aura for a young infant’s bedroom and also co-ordinates well with other colours so you’ve got plenty of scope when it comes to furniture.’<\/p>

Flower wall<\/h2>\n

One of the most lavish and exciting parts of Stacey Solomon’s pink nursery makeover is the amazing floor to ceiling pink faux flower wall. Grabbing our attention immediately, this special element of the room is truly unique but a great idea to mesmerise and relax little babies using the power of nature.<\/p>\n

Jess Martin, design expert at Ginger Ray<\/a> comments: ‘Artificial flower walls are a fantastic substitute if creating one with real plants or flowers isn\u2019t feasible. Not only can you pin them up and take them down as you please, they\u2019re also an affordable option and are incredibly simple to put up.<\/p>\n

‘Flower wall backdrops make a stunning focal point for any room – it\u2019s best to go with pale, neutral colours such as whites and light pastel shades to suit most decor. To create a flower wall, you simply clip a selection of smaller tiles together to create one big wall. The beauty of this is you can make the wall as big or small as you please, depending on the space you have.’<\/p>\n

Another defining feature of the nursery is the wood-effect luxury floor tiles, laid in a herringbone pattern. This style is hugely popular at the moment especially in lighter, white and grey tones. If there is one thing Stacey is well-known for, its organising! From her bestselling book Tap To Tidy<\/em> <\/a>and her upcoming BBC series, Sort Your Life Out<\/em><\/a>, to her daily Instagram stories showcasing ‘refill hour’ and her famous labels. So it’s safe to say, Stacey is no stranger to a storage hack. Therefore, it’s certainly not a surprise that the nursery has plenty of places to tidy away all her new baby bits.
